Our dance instructors are experienced, well trained and educated in the dance field.  They are also experienced in dealing with children.  We want all of our students to have fun while being challenged to push themselves to becoming accomplished dancers.  We require discipline in a friendly environment!

Who We Are

Denise Yackel has been teaching dance for 44 years.  She began dancing at the age of five.  She attended the University of Minnesota after graduating from South St. Paul High School.  She has studied dance with countless professionals from across the country.  Denise has instilled a true love of dance and many life lessons in hundreds of children and adults lives.

Beth Yackel Wasley has been teaching dance for 12 years.  She began dancing at the age of two.  She is a graduate of South St. Paul High School and attended the College of St. Catherine.  She continues her dance education by traveling to New York, California and Chicago each year.  She has won Top Choreography Awards at National Dance Competitions 2001, 2005, 2006, 2007 and four each in 2009 and 2010. Beth just won another choreography award at the Showbiz National Talent Competition in Dallas, Texas on July 10, 2011! Her competitive students continue to win big at regional and national competitions.  It is her love of children, dance and teaching dance that truly inspire her and her students.  Her choreography is innovative, age appropriate and challenging for all her students!
